JOINT JHA/CPC MEASURES:
HB 2143    RELATING TO THE UNIFORM PRINCIPAL AND INCOME ACT    JHA/CPC, FIN
        Repeals the revised uniform principal and income act (chapter
        557, HRS) and establishes a new uniform principal and income
        act.

HB 2420    RELATING TO THE DISCLOSURE OF GOVERNMENT RECORDS    JHA/CPC, FIN
        Relieves the State and county agencies of the time and expense
        of retrieving, reviewing, and making information, that the
        agency maintains but did not originate, available to the public
        under chapter 92F.

HB 2529    RELATING TO SAFE DRINKING WATER                     JHA/CPC, FIN
        Modifies the definition of a "water treatment plan" to allow for
        a distinction between certification requirements for water
        treatment plant and distribution system operators.

JHA ONLY MEASURES:
HB 2528    RELATING TO SAFE DRINKING WATER                         JHA, FIN
        Increases potential fines to public water systems who violate
        drinking water requirements.

HB 2530    RELATING TO AIR POLLUTION CONTROL PUBLIC NOTIFICATION   JHA, FIN
        Clarifies public notice requirements.

HB 1982    RELATING TO UNIFORM DISCLAIMER OF PROPERTY INTERESTS ACT     JHA
        Adopts Uniform Disclaimer of Property Interests Act.


 
HB 2259    MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR UNIFORM LAWS                JHA, FIN
        Appropriates $32,000 for Hawaii's contribution to the costs of
        NCCUSL.

HB 2586    RELATING TO CHAPTER 92F, UNIFORM INFORMATION PRACTICES ACT   JHA
        (MODIFIED)
        Clarifies that agencies have 10 working days from the date of
        receipt by the agency to respond to a request for personal
        records under section 92F-23.

HB 2021    RELATING TO ACT 316, SESSION LAWS OF HAWAII 1993, AS AMENDED BY
        ACT 157, SESSION LAWS OF HAWAII 1995; AND TO ACT 278, SESSION
        LAWS OF HAWAII 1999                                          JHA
        Adds reenactment language to laws that were amended, and will be
        inadvertently repealed, by laws establishing the expedited
        sentencing program and amending the crime victim compensation
        special fund.
